front interior door grab handles

2009 Megane III 1.5dCi Dynamique 106 - 3,500 miles - this car was an ex-demo purchased in dec 2009 from Benfield Motors, Benfield Road Newcastle Upon Tyne

One of the first few impressions a person would get about the quality and fit & finish of a car is when the person, sits inside and then closes the door right?

Well do that on the above mentioned Megane, and things don't seem like Renault have promised! Both front interior door handles, the ones one would grab and then pull to close the door, feel loose, squeak and not sturdy at all! Even the grab handles on my Megane II feel much sturdier than the ones in this new car?

To add to the wounds, the passenger door when closed isn't in line with the other bodywork, it sticks out by approx 7mm.

To FURTHER add to the wounds, the trim near the footwell by the rear passenger door is loose.

These issues, on a 6 month old car? a demo car as well?

The car has been booked in next thursday at the above mentioned dealer to get these problems sorted - this was after visiting this Tuesday gone to find out the faults. As usual, the technician thinks that the front grab handles just need lubricating.
The amount of times I've been told by a Renault dealer that part x or part y just needs lubricating, spraying with silicone spray, 'they all do that' or the best one of all - we've connected your vehicle to the diagnostics and no faults were found... for an interior rattle or a squeak?

From what I've experienced, Renault don't seem to improved the quality of the Megane at all! And as for the dealers, same old same old!

I am aware that the passenger door and rear trim can easily be put right, but this isn't the point. Why are they like this in the first place? And what is going to happen in the future to other 'bits' of the car??

sorry it`s of no consolation but i`ve learned through owning the one i have at the moment,that i`ll never have another.the amount of money i`ve spent up to now is hideous and and it`s still (to me anyway) pish poor.
