high fuel consumption

hello guys
I bought last week a Renault megane 3(2013 model)
adter couple days on road ,I realize that the fuel consumption is much higher than normal.The average price is 8.5 liters per 100klm with really eco friendly driving. .That price is much higher than factory standards. I expected around 6 liters per 100klm.
any one with same bad experience?
what can be the reasons?
