Drivers door not always opening

Hi, I'm new on here and this is my first post so forgive me if this has already been posted and/or I miss any details.
The car is a Renault Megane 3 gt line tom tom 5 door 61 plate.

For the last month or 2 I have been having issues gaining access into my drivers door. Initially I thought it was something to do with the keyless entry but the same happened when I unlock with the fob. When I pull on the handle there doesn't seem to be anything 'attached', so to gain access I pull the internal handle by gaining access from the rear door, then immediately the external handle works again. Sometimes it won't happen for a few days then sometimes it will happen every time I try gain access, there seems to be no pattern. I have had the door card off and everything seems to be attached correctly, I gave the lock mechanism a quick clean out too for good measure. Has anyone had this issue and resolved it, or have any advice? I tried to speak to Renault but they wanted £79.99 just to take a look!!

Did you get a solution ? I have a 58 plate MK3 1.6 Dynamique. It is doing exactly the same.

My mk3 is the same.
I gain access by opening the boot which then opens my door or I just use the remote.
Not worth the hassle or cost to fix really.
