Hi there all, sorry to drag this up again but can anyone shed any light on how to change/check the bulbs? I'd rather not be going into the stealers for them to charge me an hours labour if I can avoid it!
TA muchly,
Tony.

Ulrich recommends buying a strip of LED lights and bunging them in. Cost is £1 or thereabouts. Have a search on here.

Thats the problem, I cant seem to find a guide on how to get to it, the book says to refer to the stealers and there's gotta be something that even I can do as a spanner monkey!!!

Oops - erm forgot to read the above posts.... numpty.
I prised off the interior trim underneath the boot lid. I could then see it in all its glory (hatchback).
Maybe different on the sedan...

Its not that hard...
You buy an LED strip from ebay. (48LED)
Cut it to length. Connect + to + and - to -
Tuck the light bar back into the housing, refit and bobs your uncle.
Its not exactly a job that needs a guide...
gees your right 1000+ reads and no one has a response

Here's how you do it on the Sedan:
- you must press the 2 squares on the plastic that covers the light; you can try first pressing one and then pulling the plastic twords you just a bit then moving to the other; it's a bit of a hassle to press those plastics in all the way but after they go down you are done with the hard part
- next you remove the white plastic holder for the bulb
- pull out the bulb and go get a replacement; i don't know what type of bulb it is but it's similar to the w12w

I'm trying to change the high level brake light. Mine's all corroded inside.
Does anyone know one of the red plastic units off a hatchback will fit a sport tourer (the estate)? Not so many of the estates at the breakers...
Cheers
