Just wondering has anyone fitted a pair of 6x9s in the Megan Saloon/Sedan if so how did you do it?

PS Whats the differance between a Saloon and a Sedan or is it different word same thing?

Regards

Paddy

I thought saloon and sedan means the same but a friend of mine said its to do with the boot. A sedans boot opens without the rear window/glass and a saloon does.

so is the three and 5 door a saloon? using that description yes because the glass goes with the door
i thought sedan was an american term for saloon you know they cant use the propper name for car parts
trunk = boot
hood = bonet
im surprised they call the round things in each corner wheels

As far as I know, vehicles like the Mercedes E-class, BMW 5 series etc are saloons (luxury cars), those above our "sub-compact" vehicles (Renault Megane Sedan, Ford Focus, VW Jetta, and the compact segments like the Ford Icon Sedan, Opel Corsa Sedan, with a "longer" boot (4 door) that is called a sedan in our segment...

We drive sedans, although it does feel like a saloon sometimes ;-) haha
MEGANE SEDAN 2.0 Privilege:
