hi all has anyone had a problem with their rear veiw mirrors mines gone dark but theres a hole of clear glass about 3 inches by an inch oval?? and very distorted cheers phil

Some rear view mirrors are electronically dimmable, they have a sensor that picks up the lights from the car behind, sounds as though yours has malfunctioned
