The Mégane II Owners' Club

Iv'e got a 2004 sedan and it has the usual problem with electrics.
The boot won't open, i've re-wired from the lid to inside the car, no joy so i removed the switch and lock.
I'm not an expert with car electrics so all i did was tested the switch for continuity, it gave me a reading when i pressed the switch.
I removed the motor from the lock and tested that, it spins ok.
Is there anything i can try?

Possibilities I can think of:
Electrical problem between switch and lock.
Lock broken/jammed.
Is there current to the switch?
Is the boot lock on a different fuse?

Did you ever get this sorted?
