98 Renault Megane, Wont Start

Hi, I have a problem with a 98 S Reg Renault Megane 1.6. It was all fine until parked up the other night. Upon returning to the car, unlocking it and getting inside and placing the key in the ignition. When the key was turned all of the dash and ignition comes up however nothing happens on the starter, no click, no turning over nothing. The battery appears ok when tested and the only fault code that is showing is PO301, 13G and code P1008 and it says memory loss. CAn anyone help or suggest what this problem might be along with the fault codes.

P0301 means misfire in the 1st cylinder. P1008 is manufacturer-specific, I don't know it.
