changing soft top, need help :(

hi, I had accidentally posted this in megane 2, apologies to the mods.

Just called my local Renault dealer in Malta- they are asking for 1660 euro for a new (convertible) soft top, this does not yet include the changing / replacement labour charge. so it will be more expensive than this.

however I know that if I buy it online it will be around 700 euro including delivery from france. wished to ask whether its easy to change the roof myself, or with any other mechanic, since I m paying more than double with Renault staff.

Don't worry it's a Megane 'problem' so easily sits in the problems section.

Won't do any harm having it here as well though, as said in the other thread, good look with your endeavours
