Can i mount the steering wheel from phase 2 to phase 1?

Can i mount the steering wheel from phase 2 to phase 1?

Hi there,

I'd like to replace my steering wheel with the one from the newer Megane. Does the steering wheel from the 1999. model fit on the 1996. model?
