Injector Fault / Gearbox Fault

Hi.

First apologies if this has been posted by someone else.

I brought a 2005 Megane Dynamique 16V 1.6 Auto in November

I was driving home from a job interview on Friday in Hertfordshire, when there was a bang, sounding like the old phrase "the engine/gearbox falling off"..

A "injection warning light" then came on on the dashboard, along with "check gearbox"

The car became very "juddery" and "chuggy" and lost all power,

I managed to keep going for 5 minutes but there was no oompth to the driving.

The Roadside assitant done a diagnostics test on the car..and it came up on his laptop "injection problem" and he reccomended not to drive it any further.

ALSO! , he said the car seemed to be misfiring and skipping - problems with the 2nd valve?

Its now at a renault garage waiting to be fixed - luckily was under warrenty

Should i be prepared for the wors or is it easy to fix?

This sounds like the fault I have, what was the outcome of the dealer visit???
