Megane Bonnets

Hi All,

Having a headache here. I'm after a bonnet for my 99-02 (phase 2) convertible. Having searched around endlessly for one, I am getting conflicting information as to whether the normal bonnet is different to the coupe/cabrio bonnets. I know it is on phase 1's but are they different for phase 2's?

Do I buy the first one even though the guy says it doesnt fit my 2000 cabrio? As he seems to be wrong????

They are the same as are the wings and front bumpers a lot of the interior is the same as well, all a cabrio is, is a cut off coupe which is a cut off saloon, front the front wing forward they are the same car. as for the bonnet don't understand why he thinks it is differant no point in strengthening it as it fixes at 3 points, 2 weak hindges and a spring catch.
You get the same with the Meg2 hatch, saloon and CC a lot of the parts are interchangable, its just knowing what is common to all vehicles, again bonnets and wings are the same.
