hi ive had problems with my drivers side electric window. You can hear the motor clicking when you try to close the window but when you try to open it nothing happens and the motor makes no noise. ive changed the motor but still no luck, is it likely to be the window switch?
thanks andy

Re: 2001 megane coupe window trouble
I doubt it is fuse related as you can hear the motor clicking when you press the window button, so it is getting power, sounds to me like it is knackered, they break the plastic wheel on one of the lifter arms and the cable becomes entangled inside the motor, possiby need a new window lifter.

they are very good and competative prices. but I would take off the door panel first to have a look, but it deffinatly sounds to me like "expense" time, if the fuse had blown it would not click I am afraid. You need this door panel off anyway to get it up and sealed.
