Renault Megane Alloy T Reg

Hello I have a renault megane 99 model with 205 40zr 17 tyres on the car i just found on ebay some new alloys but they are 14'' and the tyre size is 185/60R14 and they came of of a renault megane 2000 reg will they fit my car

I think they will, my wife has a 99 Coupe and that had 14" steels on it with 185 tyres we went up to 15" rims as with hers being a 1.4 we didn't want to lose to much low down pull, I can't see why they wont fit, bit of a drop mind you 17 back to 14, supose they tyres are more affordable £80 will get my wifes car two tyres (toyos) where as mine cost me £125 for two toyos and only on 16" rims, I looked at 17" rims as they are quite cheap again but at a set of fronts every 23K (just over a year for me) at £150 a shot for 17's its just to much cash per year as well as trying to run it to shell out on tyres, anyway back to the question as said my wifes Coupe ran on 14" steel rims with 185 x 60 x 14 tyres hers is a 1999 meg Coupe so I don't see why they should not fit on yours, it would have been on either 14's or 16's as that was the standard sizes for that era.
