jump started magane with leads wrong wat around!!

hi guys,
we tried to jump start our megane but put the leads on the wrong way around! obviously didnt start but when put on the correct terminals it just kept turning over and a yellow warning sign was flashing on the dash(electrical zigzag sign on far right of instrument panel) any help would be grateful thnx.

Not sure about that warning light, would imagine you've blown a fair few fuses, I'd start with checking them all..

thnx joe, feel a right idiot !u wouldnt beleive i worked in a garage for 20 yrs!!but to my defence it was bloody freezing and i was rushing!plus some idiot in vauxhall decided to use light brown for the earth lead on the car i was jumping from and the red wires on the + were clearly unvisable. im still an idiot tho!!!

checked fuses.turned out to be a little 5amp for the immobiliser!!lol

No worries glad I could help, you've been lucky. often it's daft little mistakes like that that can kill the car off!lol we've all been there tho!
