megane scenic auto box

hi all im new to the megane oc
iv just brought a 1999 megane senic 1.6 automatic from a car auction and on the drive home found that box is shot it wont even go into reverse (which made parking it at home fun
) the max it would do is around 20mph and car was in limp home mode what im wondering is whats the gearbox code at a guess im thinkin its a DPO and whats the ecu part number....? iv not had chance to get it connected to a computer yet to find out the fault codes
and has any1 else had my problem and what did they do to fix???
