Rear door wont open.

Hi all,

Bit of a problem on my 1999 Megane RT. When using the central locking button, or the key in both the driver and passenger doors, the rear doors just will not unlock.
This is also the case when lifting the stalk on the inside of the doors. Both sides seem to be totally jammed.

Any help would be great. We've had a mechanic looking at it and he cant seem to fix it either.
