My wife has this car but the car for some reason does not seem to be working. What happens is that she opesn the door with the electronic key and then goes to put the key in but it does not work - Immobiliser. She then presses the button to de activate the immobiliser, but nothing happens and she cannot start the car

I read the Haynes manual to deactivate the alarm and it said that the key has to be turned in the glove box - So I looked in the glove box and there is nothing there!!!!

Well, the reason that people haven't replied is probably because they have no answer to your problem.

They are also very much less likely to suggest anything given your language and attitude problem too. We don't get paid to help here you know. If you can't sort it out on here, go to Renault and spend some money.

Try replacing the key battery, and disconnecting the car battery for an hour or so. It may reset the immobiliser.
