megane 1.4 sport 1999

Hi to all. My megane has a slight fault (1.4 alize sport ) occasionaly it wont start , i was just wondering does the megane have a dwell angle sensor as i had the same problem on an older renault and the aa man said thats what is usually the problem with renaults starting thanks for your help ...
