The Mégane II Owners' Club

Hello, im new here! Im looking for a bit of help I have recently purchased a 1999 Megane and was hoping someone could help me! Its only a minor thing but the back light on the LCD display (with the Clock and Temp) is not showing up, when the sun catches it at the right angle you can see itt but im guessing the backlight has gone?

If this is the problem how easy is it to repace? Looking at the car there dosn't seam to be an easy way to get to this to change it? Also how much would a new one cost?

take the grilles off the speakers ontop of the dash, undo the screws, pop the dash up and throw on back seat,

undo screws holding lcd in place....swap bulbs at back...

refit in reverse order

cost...about £1
