how do i feed power cable for amp into engine bay

I have read a previous post on this forum regarding how to feed a power cable through to the engine bay for a sub and amp. It says that the best way is to unscrew and remove the glove box and feed it through a grommit behind the glovebox, however I have a Megane Expression 2001 and the glove box is literally attached to the rest of the dash board and there is no obvious way of how to remove it. Please I really do need help with this, I dont want to start drilling holes to feed the cable through, there must be a way to do it. Please help!!

Most of the cars on here are Megane IIs, your better off asking this on a Megane I forum or the actual Megane I sub section on here.
