air intake sensor

hi guys


had my air intake sensor changed yesterday as had come up as a fault...


car/engine/performance transformed- (in all my attempts to sort this car not had this done before).....

what does it do can anyone tell me?

It contains both the Intake Air Temperature and the Mass Air Flow Sensors. If the first is broken, then the engine either remains in the warming-up mode or struggles to run when cold. The second sensor is used in the calculation of the injection charge and throttle opening. Basically, both are very important. There are plenty of articles about them on the web -- Google for more information.

what i do know is that for a £20 part its made the biggest difference out of all the things ive attempted in the past!!!!!

inc throttle body cleaning and TDC sensors.

the car is completely transformed!!!!

amazing to feel how the car was always designed to run.

i love it again!
