Engine and Service light illuminated

Hey,
Ive recently had issues with the good old pencil coils, changed the fautly coil again however the engine management and the service lights are on, does anyone have any idea what this could be? Or does it need resetting? (I had 3 done in a garage so dont know if he did anything for his £70.00 or not, cost me £23.00 grrr)

My light has just illuminated and Ive just had a service and MOT. Garage dont know what it is? Any help as I dont wanna be fobbed off!
Also how much petrol is ur car guzzling, mine is costing me loads and Im hoping its nothing to do with this fault?!!!

I changed the coils on my megane myself, the service and engine light should go out themselves after 5-7 days of driving. Think it just takes the computer a while to realise that the problem has been resolved. If it doesnt go out after a week, i would say something else has went wrong

Finally got the lights off!!!! There was actually nothing wrong with the car but the garage who did my service and mot couldnt get the lights off. A guy has put the laptop in the car and switched it off and 3 days later its still off:-)
