As one of the (seemingly few) members who has changed a headlight bulb in 5 mins with no problems at all i had no worries when the sidelight stopped working. Full lock on, little panel in wheelarch off, unscrew back cover of light, hand in feel for connector....... and then I cannot for the life of me feel how to get the bloody bulb out! Can anyone who has resorted to the more drastic methods of dipped bulb replacement please enlighten me as to how the sidelight bulb comes free? Is it a pull off connector or does the whole bulb holder come out, any tips would be appreciated .

First you have to pull the bulb holder out of the headlamp unit, the bulb comes with it. Next comes the tricky part... you have to hold the bulb holder and pull the bulb out of it one handed as its impossible to get both arms in. Good luck! And remember if you're replacing with LEDs, they are polarised so you may have to pull them back out and turn them 180degrees.

In my personal opnion i feal it is quicker and eaiser to take the front bumper off andthen replace bulbs... Front bumper off is 4 screws 3 bolts and about 6 plastic clips.. Doesnt take long and give you all the room you need. You can do other things then.. like upgrade horn to something that can be heard and change the fogs to HIDs or xenon.

The sidelight bulb holder comes out by squeezing the two tabs together then pulling it out.
