I have an 04 Megane 1.5DCi 100. The clutch is fine in that there is no slip etc. There has been a sort of notch feel sometimes when depressing it, a bit like something caught under the pedal. This morning, I changed gear and released the clutch and it stayed down but still had drive. I put the car in neutral and left the engine running. There was a whirring sound. I pulled the pedal up and all seemed well until I press it again and it stick down.
Any ideas anyone?

Sounds like the clutch master cylinder is defective.. Not uncommon.. and pretty easy to replace..

Where is the clutch master cylinder and how do you get to it?
