For the past couple of months I have noticed the acceleration on my 1.6 VVT Dynamique play up a little bit. I dont seem to have as much power as I should, and it also seems to 'stick' at points when accelerating (i.e. slight losses of power, but not major). The sticking only seems to happen for the first 5 mins though until it warms up. A friend of mine who is a mechanic plugged his computer in and found that their is a Camshaft problem message. There are no warning lights on with regards to my car, and he believes that their could be a few potential reasons for it but is not sure. Has anyone came accross this problem? There doesnt seem to be any strange noises or clunking coming from my car which baffled him.
Cheers,
Alistair

Re: CAM Shaft Problem
Cam shaft sensor or TDC sensor may need replacing.
