Any ideas?

Hi,

My 225 pulls to the left, pretty severe when braking! Apparently the garage i bought it from is fixing it. Also the engine has big vibration during idle but again this is getting fixed when the part arrives. Since coming back from the garage, when i take my foot off the accelerator while driving, a strange grinding noise comes from the car, i can especially feel it through the clutch pedel. If i push the clutch in it stops! I'm assuming its a clutch problem.

Can anyone help with any ideas on this? The garage gave me the 225 back m while they wait for the parts but i'm concerned its doing damage driving it.

Maybe it needs wheel alignment. Most garages check and only charge if it needs adjustment. still should be under £25.

sounds like it could be a clutch or gearbox problem?

Why should a car pull to one side when gearbox or clutch are faulty? Dont think so....my bet is that it has either got to do with a stuck brake piston or, more likely, worn out steering components, presumably on the side the car pulls to when breaking.

I think Andy was refering to the grinding when not under throttle and this going when fully costing with clutch disengaged.
