2nd time i have had a diesel, and this diesel dont sound like my last one, but that was a 1996 vectra that never missed a beat tho, can the revs be turned up on these or are they controled by a computer?

I think adrian mgn is probably referring to the "engine mountings". These are a known weak point in the Megane and do cause engine vibrations at idle when they are on their way out.

I have just ordered a new mounting yesterday and will have it installed by the end of next week....so by then I will be able to let you know if it worked. the damage is EUR 111 which should be about 90 pounds...

for the 01/2004 1,9dCi 120 It is part # 6 in this picture:

Is this common on the 1.6 16v also? I think im experiencing the same, also engine nearly stalling when cold doesnt tick over anywher near correct idle revs!

Cheers Ian
