There is an appropriate active thread at Parkers. In any case, check tracking first.

I believe that the inappropriate wear is due to the car set up i.e. in such as way as to handle better, be safer and all that. The standard fit Conti's are not at all good at handling this and many have found that when changing if you go for Kumho's they not only last longer but give better grip and reduced road noise.

If you do a search for Kumho you'll find a list of threads that'll explain which ones to go for :D

Not without a reason, I am afraid... See this
https://www.adac.de/Tests/Reifentests/default.asp
and this in particular
https://www.adac.de/Tests/Reifentests/So ... eID=174023

Kumho are still in the recommended category, but their wet performance is below average and I would not try them in winter.

I had them fitted them to my Megane II and have had them fitted to my OHs previous 2 Modus' and they will be fitted to my OHs latest Modus when the time arrives - far better than the Conti's in all aspects. My OH does 12 - 15k miles annually in all weathers and in all conditions in her job however, If you're at all worried by reports on the Kumho's lux then all I would say is avoid the Conti's and don't discount brands like Kumho, Falken, Hankook etc.

All the best :tu

I wouldn't pay for nitrogen inflation, seeing that air is ~78% nitrogen anyway, the benefits are miniscule.

ive got 17s on mine, with maxxis on the back and kumhos on the front and to be honest kumhos arent great, not really that good in the wet either, I would recommend avon theyre alot better more 'mid range' and better grip levels much better than dunlop and alot cheaper.
