Card key

Hi
Both of the key cards for our renault megane stopped working at the same time. I changed the battery but still nothing.
Any ideas??

Stopped working as in...... I went to open door by pushing button but nothing happened. I used the emergency key and being a bit daft climbed from passenger seat to driver seat (over the gear stick). This you might think is no mean feat....... but I am 41 weeks pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!
We don't have hands free. the car started ok so battery is not flat. It just seems that both of the card keys have given up (just like i have of this baby ever coming out!!)
Any suggestions? about the card key , not the baby coming out!
