back brake light strip not working

Postby silent » Sat Jul 19, 2008 10:15 am

Hello,

Please could someone with knowledge help me! My back brake light (the strip one in the middle) has stopped working all together.
Is it a case of when one bulb goes the lot go?
Do i just need a new strip? if so where is best to buy from?
Is there a seperate fuse for the strip light and the other brake lights? if so where is it as i cant see it?
could a garage that has just completed a full service and cambelt change have broken it?
How do i fix the blighter!!? :hm

Your speedy help would be most appreciated as i have to go to france the end of next week.

thank you very much

Andy

Corroded connector or/and a conductive track on the light's PCB -- dodgy design. Remove the light and fix its connector. All instructions are, as usual, in the manual pointed at in Links section.
