Door Handles/ Caps Replacement - easy

I'm on a roll now, my second post in 2 weeks!

Bit of help for those of you who are having door handles/caps peeling or cracking etc:

I thought I'd write to advise you that after recently (April) purchasing my '04 plate, Dynamique, Diesel I noticed that the caps on the door handles were cracking and beginning to peel. (The door handles/ caps on the Dynamique are satin chrome, not body coloured). They looked awful and compared to new Megane's I'd parked next to only made them look 10 times worse!
So, I called RCS and explained how old the car was, that this was totally unsatisfactory for a car just 4 years old and they took my details, "made some internal calls" and called me back a few days later to say they were going to replace these under warranty (what warranty I'm not sure as the car has passed it 3 yr/ 60,000 mile one, but I'm guessing the 12 year exterior paint warranty).

It's now been into the local dealer and had all four door handles and caps replaced - winner!

I would recommend that others who have this problem call RCS as a matter of urgency - I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this problem, as I do recall a few threads about this.

Give it a go, you've got nothing to lose.
