Problem with your Megane? Can't find an answer? Workshop manuals and technical notes are in here.

Not sure if this is a problem but........

Postby Brummy27 » Thu Jul 03, 2008 12:32 pm

Basically i think my car revs quite high, ive searched but cant find any articles on this forum , its a megane 1.4 dymanique on a '05' plate, in fifth gear 60 mph is 3000 revs, 70 mph is 3500 revs and 80 mph is 4000 revs. Is this right, i know its a bit of a mad question but ive never owned a small engined car before so normally 80 mph is around the 2500 - 3000 rev mark.

Can anyone shed any light on this subject?

Cheers in advance.
