Water in secret compartment.

Hi Guys,
We have had recurring problems with water filling the "secret compartment" on the passenger side door. We are out in Spain, and have had all sorts of diagnoses from both friends and various renault dealers.

This has been happening for a few months, so I think we can discount a "radiator" leak, as surely it would have run out of water by now, as when it fills, it really fills the compartment,

Thought it was the window washers, but when we left them dry, it never happened.

One thing we think we did notice, is that it filled when we had given the car a wash with the pressure washer, but again not sure.

Anyone got any other ideas or suggestions?

Use the search facility as this is a known problem which has been discussed before. I think it has something to do with a blocked drain hole on the scuttle (plastic bit at bottom of windscreen) but I can't remember the cure.
