The Mégane II Owners' Club

Hi I have had my Megane for 3 weeks it is an 03 plate 1.6 Dynamic,have problems when starting the car it starts ticks over for 10 seconds then stops, but if i move the car forward by about 10 feet and stop the car will tick over, got on to the last garage that MOT and they told me they knew of the problem and that they belived it to be the throttle body that needed to be replaced, can anyone please help with advice. thanks kfb

The throttle body may just require a good clean. Search the forum and you will find a few people who have had this done to great satisfaction.

Jonault thanks took the air hose off today and this was caked in goo so had a clean will see how it goes thanks KFB
