The Mégane II Owners' Club

hi guys iv just bought a megane fascelift 06 model and iv got a whisling comming from the brakes ,it happens when i touch them gently,also i got a megane cd changer for the dash to connect to the normal cd player of ebay and there is no wiring in my dash for it,does anyone know if the cables can be bought and if so what part numbers i need. thanx

I think you'll find its a common problem regarding squeaky brakes. Mine also squeak when i press the brake slightly but I've sort of got used to it. I'll mention it when its in for a serice later in the year.

is it still under warranty? i had all 4 bearings, discs, pads and calpiers replaced on mine

yep it is still under warranty until april next year,when i brake normal theres no problem but when im in a slow moving traffic doing 10 mph and stopping and starting it really squeals,its startin to drive me mad.

ill take her back to the dealer as when i bought her they had just replaced the brakes and had done the 27,000 mile service,any advice concerning the cd changer guys?
