Rattles!

Hi Everyone
Like so many others I have an annoying rattle
. The most annoying thing is that I can stop it easily with just a little upward pressure from my index finger while driving, but can't do anything to stop it permantly. The pressure is applied to the cowling(?) over the rev counter/speedo, right in the middle of the front edge at the 12 o'clock position on the wheel. This is my first Megane and after a year the only problem I have had. Any suggestion would be very welcome!
