I recently posted pelectrical probs with my 04 Megane it started after the starter motor jamed blew battery, then left me with a host of electrical probs, at dealers its cost £732.00 to repair main engine fuse box and the UHC control module at the rear of the glove box, they have said I spiked the UhC module trying to jump start the car service guy stated that when jumping ensure you clip the positive clip to the battery first then the negative to avoid spike just stating what he said hopefully it may avoid other people thae same bill im gutted.

And don't connect the negative to the negative terminal. Clip it the the frame or engine block. Could save a nasty explosion.
