3 beeps on start up

i noticed the other day that when i start my car it beep 3 times while starting not sure what it is just wondering if anyone does know

I have this prob with my 2005 megane....
Sometimes intermittently while driving at any speed etc... i get the handbrake warning light flashing together with the STOP sign flashing... (it flickers and beeps... then disappears for a while... then comes back!)
Any Ideas...

My 04 Megane doesnt beep at all if the Hand brake light is on...i think it should beep but it doesnt do nothing, just let me drive without any warning. Its normal or it should beep?

After all the snow we had {about 18 inches} my 05 renault megane stood on the drive for a week not going anywhere and when i started it. it made three beeps before starting and it has carried on doing it. Took it to my garage i use they couldn't find anything wrong with it they even rang up Renault dealer where i had the car from and they had no idea

I would explain the above error but i dont have time.
Remove the battery for at least 30 seconds... you wont see the problem again.
