Oh an the socket is behind a rectangle plastic cover between the steering will and the hazard switch

I just bought a second hand 2006 dynamiting vvt a few faults the eml is on also spanner light what could be cause
Also I have just noticed fan is held up with cable tie and doesn’t seem to work (radiator fan ) what could be reason
Is this worth getting looked at and fixed ?

You should start by getting your car connected to a OBD reader a decent model this should point you in the right direction most decent garages do this or even mobile mechanics will help...has for the fan i am quite sure plastic ties are not standard....find out how it should be and replace parts...next question if car has all these faults why did you buy it ?
