ADVICE PLEASE!!
I have a renault megane oasis 1.4...its an 05 reg (35,000 miles) and the warranty is up in July. Recently I have had the following problems:
1. Two new window regulators
2. Car wont lock
3. Suspicious crackling sound coming from dashboard (still there now)
4. Air con not working
5. Sunroof not opening / shutting
6. Not starting on the clutch
7. Various bleeping problems
8. Two new indicator lights
9. Two new headlights
Its now coming up to the end of it warranty, it needs MOTing and its 36,000mile service. The garage I go to said they would give me an extra year warranty, a service and an MOT for £400. But is it really worth it? What else is likely to go wrong now...? Or would it be better to put the money towards something more reliable?
Should I give up now and scrap it?

i was in the same position as you a month back and even actually put my car up for sale, but the more i thought about it the less i could bring myself to sell it, even though in the space of a few weeks the air con packed up and the drivers window regulator failed, but hey whats warranty for. it depends how attached you are to your car, but £400 sounds good, renault wanted £300 just to service my car and my warranty cost me £220, so that sounds a really good price, but put it through the mot first to see if it passes, if it does not perhaps it might be time to get rid.

1.4 is not the best engine, this is the only model with smaller brakes, the gadgets are causing trouble and the overall condition of the car (whatever the reason, whoever to blame...) deteriorates over time -- scrap it.

Also, as far as I know, if you have documentation stating that a repair to something was staterd prior to the warranty period coming to an end, or showing that the problem has been a recurring one then they are obliged to resolve the issue even when out of warranty.
£400 for what they are offering is a very good deal and I would certainly be taking them up on their offer.
