Front electric windows

The warranty for my 1.6 Dynamique expired in March and since then both front electric windows have stopped working. An auto electrician attempted to investigate but he could not help and suggested I go to a Renault dealer. He was aware that the front electric windows were a problem with the Megane. It appears that this may be a common fault and I want to seek assistance from Renault. Can anyone offer any advise about my best approach?

Do a letter to Renault UK, state the facts and be pleasant but confident.

Most people that have used that approach have succeeded in receiving some, if not full, recompense via Renault UK.

Always keep copies of any communications that you have with them or a dealer.

Good luck :tu

first of all, welcome to MOC :)
second, post your problems and issues,in ownership problems section, you will get more answers;also, try the search first,as there are loads of common threads on the forum.
third, yes the windows are common problems, mine went a while back.it was the regulator but as the car was under warranty got changed,no questions asked.I know this can be costly as I have seen on some posts, try what Stranger suggests,to see what Renault would do to help you.

let us know, how you get on.
