BeeeeeeeeeeP!!

Decided to install my amp n sub today seen as the weather was so lovely. took out the battery got everything in, put the battery back in, deadlocked the car.......BEEEEP BEEEP! the thing has started beeping at me when i lock and unlock it!! its rather annoying, any1 know how to turn it off?! Cheers

One of the door sensor buttons for the alarm could be at fault here, also check the boot and bonnet ones as well

The alarm is beeping to tell you that there's a fault.

iv just found out it was disabled by renault, apparently its against eu law for an alarm to beep when putting the alarm on. just want shot of the bl00dy thing.

I had the same problem after a window regulator went on my old 05 Oasis and the battery was disconnected and reconnected to raise the window in stages.
It was fixed by Wests Cambridge on the next service visit. Sorry I can't tell you what they did to fix it, but it seems dealers should know what to do.

yeh thats after a diagnostic fee and 10 hours of labour :D

Ive got an 06 megane (facelift model) and when i lock mine, it beeps when i push the button once. Should this now be happening? :?

dont think it should be. min aint so annoyin anymore, just wish i could get rid of that fuel beep!!

Or the heart attack inducer as i refer to it as. Not as bad when you start the car but when you're doing 70on a motorway it's a slight bit worrying! :shock:

Yeah - mine frightens the crap out of me! Has anyone ever had the low fuel beep happen when you are indicating? - even worse!

im sure theres another tone of beep when the fuel gets even lower, more high pitched....
