TDC Sensor

Can anyone tell me where to find the TDC sensor? I'm having occasional trouble starting the engine on my 1.4 Sport Hatch and have been told cleaning the TDC could cure the problem. Thanks.

Hello, had a look in my Haynes manual, it looks to be on top of the transmission next to the block/head. It appears to be held in place with 2 bolts, hope this helps, regards Damian.
