Is this an intermittent fault or have the lights stopped on?

You could have a faulty injector, or it could be the erg valve need cleaning.
All this has been covered in other topics so you should find you answer in here somewhere.

if the warning light goes off after a re-start - warm engine for 10 mins, the it will be a glow plug gone. the can be purchased from GSF for about £10 each. changing them is fairly easy. if the light stays on even with the engine warm and after a re-start, then it unlikely to be glow plugs.
good luck

it could mean a number of things from, glow plugs right through to injectors.get a diagnostics done on the car to narrow it down before doing anything else.

Mine and quite few others has been the glow plugs. ran fine but just had service light on with check injection warning. Like hix says at about £30 for 4 new plugs it'd be worth changing them yourself before trying anything else.

You may have to clear the error code from the ECU. Try disconecting the battery for 30-40 mins, reconnect and see if the message still appears.

i have a 1.9 megane dci and have the fault check injection displayed and service light power seems fine and the display doesn't go off like other i've seen so probably not glow plug or turbo/injector problem but only getting 37mpg average which seems low for a diesel which made me think was it the lambda or oxygen sensor i believe the grv could also be the problem but need more can you help-dave
