What are the little speaker thingies?

Loading rubbish in the boot at the weekend I've knocked off one of the little speaker thingies (technical term) that are mounted on the inside of the rear pillars.

What are they and how much is it going to cost to replace it?!

All advice (including "don't put rubbish in your pride and joy") gratefully received.

As The Negotiator said - they are your alarm sensors, knocked one of mine off once on my 1.4, it just clipped back on.

I presume from what you say that yours has broken off? I would think if you need to replace it, only a Renault dealer would stock the part. However someone else may know better than me.

i have just replaced mine and they cost £25 from renault and they come in pairs with all connectors on, very easy job as well took me half an hour.
