Random warning lights

My trustee Sept 05 55 plate Sport tourer has just developed it's first ever fault.

Sometimes (definitely not all the time) random warning lights come on. So far it has been the ABS light, but only when I have main beam on; and the ASR light, but only when the left indicator is flashing (obviously I'm turning left when this happens). This has happened at different ambient temperatures and to my mind can only be to do with the dash unit itself, since the warning lights are in close proximity to those that are correctly illuminated at the time.

I guess the answer has to be take ot the the dealer; especially since the warranty is due to expire in 7 months, however before I do has anyone else got experience of this? Any knowledge would be of much use as I may not be able to get the fault to recur whilst the dealer is looking at it!!

Faulty electrics? Water getting in them? Possibly...
