The Mégane II Owners' Club

2005 1.9 DCI with 65k on the clock,therefore out of warranty.
UCH has failed due to an internal failure - stated on the Renault dealership paperwork. Does anybody know what the 'expected' life of a UCH unit is?

I know that on my car the UCH antenna responsible for receiving the keycard's lock/unlock signals failed and the entire UCH had to be replaced...
