Stability problem

Hi guys

I have this strange problem.

The car when one side is going over wet ground ( not heavy water, just wet ground ) while the other side is on dry one, the car's pushed towards the dry side as if something is pushing it away from the wet side, this happens at the moment that one side goes into a wet ground, if I continue afterwards with the same conditions ( one wet side & one dry ).
When having both sides into wet, sometimes slight pulling happens.
My car is 2005 MII with 63000 KM on the odometer, Koni Adjustable shocks without springs, Continental PremiumContact 2 Tires 205/160 R15 with less than 25000 KM and less than 3 years old since production date.

Any clues what might be the cause?

Theres more grip (friction) on the dry part which will try to grab the tyre more ,its just physics...check you're pressures anyway if it makes you feel better....and relax too

Pressure is OK, and the pulling or may I say pushing of the car is noticeable, it's just pushed to the dry side for about 20 to 30CM, THIS IS NOT NORMAL.

I've been using this car for 32 months now & i know what's normal & what's not, may be I just didn't describe well. :(

How much tread you got left? This effect is more noticeable when your coming up to legal limit.

I've done about 21000 KM with these tires I think this is almost half of their age , right?

Excessive rear toe-in? Negative front toe-in? Check the pattern of wear on all tyres.

Thanks all for your replies

turned out to be rear pushings in addition to tie rod ends were a little loose.

Any idea where from to get the pushings from the internet?

i dont think there are many online stores for meg parts... if any. maybe a better idea to contact a local garage. not a renault garage tho and see what they say, probably do the job at half the price that the stealers are lookin', as im sure you are aware they will rob you blind.

thanks kyle for your reply

although I don't live in UK at all but the same scenario you are describing happened to me a week ago when I was changing the Tie rod ends ( both inner & outer ) I went to the Renault agent over here, they changed for me the inner tie rods for almost 770 ( w/o labor cost ) and while they were working on it I had the idea to check for the price outside the agent & I was shocked, they were only 350.

When they told me at the agent that the outer tie rods needs to be changed also, I told them no, went to the one I called before, bought the outer tie rods went to a local garage I know and changed them with almost half the cost.

My brother is staying at Manchester for a while so I was wondering if there are any parts resellers around him?

i wouldn't know im afraid since im in northern ireland.

all my break pads and discs need changed... renault are lookin' £550 do the work. my local garage are gonna do it and give the car a full MOT service for £400.

i would never take my work to renault unless they would do it under warrenty.
