I haven't checked the links in the previous posts, but on some models the motor is bi-directional - ie it will spin one way for the rear and the other way for the front. Access on mine is by removing the bumper - lots of plastic clips at the top and three 10mm socket bolts at the bottom + Torx 20 in the wheel arches.

As has been mentioned - check the wiring. Try operating the controls for the washer whilst measuring the polarity and voltage on the motor. This might give some clue.

My 2 penny advice would be to remove the bumper / expose the motor and disconnect most of the tubing and see what happens. It should pish fluid one way or the other...

Let us know how you get on.

We had a problem on my brother's old 307 whereby the motor sounded like it was working perfect, but did not deliver any water to the jets. For the price of a pump, I would change that first before spending on the UPC etc....

Further to my post yesterday, i got home last night and had a fiddle with my wipers,

here is how i managed to get the problem sorted,

1st of all i took the whole front bumper off (you dont need to but its easier to see everything once its off)
at the bottom of the washer bottle there is a black and white block that the piper for he jets attach to.
i took the whole block off (before water will come out of bottle once this unit is off!)
this unit splits into 2 peices, inside of this there is a small grey cylinder,
this cylinder was covered in junk (can only imagine the washer bottle has run dry and suck soem crud into this)
once this was all cleaned up, i put it all back together and both front and back are working great!

hope this is of help to someone as i took me ages to try and figure out what seems to be a very simple problem!!

Matt.

You have to remove it. It is easier than you may think.
